Our Clients

Our workshop was established in 1985, which represents more than 20 years of uninterrupted professional activity. We have created instruments for both public and private schools of traditional Asturian and Cantabrian music.

Our gaitas are played primarily by Asturian bagpipers both in Asturias and overseas. Listed below are some of our clients.

Students of these teachers in Asturias enjoy playing our bagpipes

How you can listen to our Asturian bagpipes

You can hear our Asturian bagpipes on countless recordings bv many groups, including some which are performing today and others which have long since disappeared.

  • The Banda de Gaitas de Taramunde “Os Castros,” who can be heard on the recording “Os Teixois”
  • Lliberdón, a folk group which has disbanded, whose piper was Juan “Fonsu” Alfonso Fernández, now the director of the Museo de la Gaita in Gijón
  • La Martaleña (Avilés)
  • Balandrán, of Avilés, with bagpiper Rubén Arias, who is also known for his work with Los Ciquitrinos
  • Felpeyu of Gijón, along with Llan de Cubel, is one of the most internationally recognized Asturian folk groups. Xuan Nel Expósito, Felpeyu’s first bagpiper, and Diego Pangua, their current gaitero, play our Asturian bagpipes in the keys of Bb and A.
  • Pedro Pangua, the father of Diego, accompanied the performances of Chus Pedro in “Nuberu” playing a gaita in the key of B flat constructed in our workshop.
